The best nap ever

Yesterday after noon I watched my four year old nephew commonly known as Itty Bitty. We just finished painting... his favorite thing to do at Aunt Lauren's house. I have him painting gift boxes right now. So if you get a present from me for Christmas it might just be decorate Itty Bitty style. Right now his favorite thing to do is stamp. I have foam stamps that he paints and then presses on the box. He is mastering not smudging it. The first time all his stamps looked like they were running very fast and leaving a blur of color behind. He loves to paint! Of course by the end of our masterpiece making he is covered in paints and stamps and glitter. (He ends up looking like a disco queen , but we won't tell him that).

After our "masterpiece making" session, we sit down and drink hot cocoa and watch a movie. Today its Hell Boy , one of his favorites. We are sitting on the couch together wrapped up in an electric blanket and drinking cocoa. About 20 minutes later, his little head starts wobbling with tiredness, he leans on my arm and falls asleep. It is the most peacefull, beautiful thing ever. I too fall asleep and we are just as warm, comfortable, and safe as ever. It was by far the best nap ever.... Until my arm fell asleep and I got those needle tickles in my finger :)

Oh well all good things come to an end.

It was a great day.
