Working Momma

Well, Friday was my first day back at American Table. Mom and Brit were watching Gianna, it was really hard to leave her although I knew she was in great hands. Mom had to kick me out of the house or I would have been late, lol. Of course, working at a family restaurant there were about 4 babies her age that I waited on.
It was good though, it was good to miss her, to walk into Mom's and want to immediately kiss and snuggle her (although I changed and cleaned up first to get ungreasy). I think Mom really enjoys having some quality time with her too.
My work schedule right now is 2-3 nights during the week and then Saturday and Sunday mornings and lunches. Pretty good, doable. Dyrs will watch her on the weekends, so he will get some one on one time with her as well. Which will be good for their relationship too.
It just humorous, nothing has changed at the restaurant. French dressing still in the same place, same regulars, same cooks, some of the faces have changed, but none of the characters. Its like opening a good book that I read along time ago and starting to enjoy it all over again.
